Derek Olsen Responds to Marriage in Creation and Covenant

One of the main tasks of Fully Alive is to encourage a wider and deeper conversation in the Church about marriage. While we have a distinct point of view, we welcome engagement by those who disagree with us. To that end, we have asked a couple of our friends to write responses to our paper Marriage in Creation and Covenant that was published in the Anglican Theological Review. The latest response comes from Derek Olsen of The St. Bede Blog. Dr. Olsen has a Ph. D. in New Testament and he is a member of the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music of the Episcopal Church. You can read his response, Marriage in the BCP and the Shortcomings of Paul and Augustine, here. We are grateful to Dr. Olsen for his willingness to join us in this important conversation.
